Cole Palmer opened the scoring for the Blues after a defensive mixture from Luton defenders. Noni Madueke scored the second for the Blues after a beautiful set-up by Palmer to give them a 2-0 halftime lead.
In the second half, Cole Palmer scored his second goal of the game after a lovely dribble past the Luton goalkeeper. Luton Town did not give up, as they scored their first goal of the game through former Chelsea midfielder Rose Barkley. Luton scored again through Adebayo to make it a tensed finish for Chelsea, but they managed to win the game.
