Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard insists his future remains at Real Madrid but wants playing time.
The former Chelsea and Belgium winger Eden Hazard has endured a difficult spell at Real Madrid due to injuries and has found it difficult to find any kind of form. Hazard’s last appearance in La Liga came back in October, with Carlo Ancellotti preferring the Brazilian duo of Vinivius Junior and Rodrygo ahead of him.
Speaking on his lack of playing time at Real Madrid, Eden Hazard said, “I want to play. I want to have fun on the field,” Hazard said. “Training is good, but what keeps us alive are the matches. I hope deep inside me that I can bring something and that the coach is still counting on me. We’ll see if I’m still going to play by the end of the season. I doubt it a little. It’s up to me to show him in training that he can call on me,” he said.
