Erling Haaland scores twice as Manchester City defeat Young Boys 2-0 in the Champions League game.

Coming into the game, the Norwegian striker was doubtful after having been substituted at halftime in Manchester City’s win over Bournemouth. He opened the scoring in the first half from the penalty spot, with Phil Foden adding the second just before halftime.

In the second half, Erling Haaland scored his second goal of the game to give Manchester City a comfortable win. Haaland has now scored 39 goals in 34 Champions League games.

Pep Guardiola suffered a blow as John Stones was injured again. “John felt his injury again. I feel so sorry for him because he’s so incredibly professional and his commitment is so strong. It is a big loss for us. John is so important for what he does, but he will recover, the season is long, and he will be back stronger.” He said.
