During the Reds’ 2-2 Premier League match with Arsenal on Sunday, the incident happened right after halftime as Andy Robertson went on to confront the assistant referee.

Hatzidakis was suspended during the FA inquiry, but he has since been found not guilty and is now free to resume his duties as a referee.

The FA on Thursday released a statement regarding the incident  “We have thoroughly reviewed all of the evidence in relation to the recent incident at Anfield involving the Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson and match official Constantine Hatzidakis, and we will be taking no further action,” read the statement.

Assistant referee Hatzidakis also apologized after the incident. “It was certainly not my intention to make any contact with Andy as I pulled my arm away from him, and for that I have apologized.” He said.
