Police FC team manager George Maelo has applauded the club’s head coach Francis Baraza for turning things around at the club to an extent of making them FKF-PL title contenders.

The Law-enforces started their 2022-23 season campaign dismally after losing two consecutive games which led them to sit at the relegation berth. The by-then head coach Sammy Pamzu was fired and was replaced by Baraza who hit the ground running.

Police Fc is currently sixth on the log having earned 28 points which is nine points less than the table leader Gor Mahia.

“Baraza has turned around the team from a struggling side to a title contender. It is the same players we had but the difference has been Baraza. He knows how to bring out the best in each player and we have all seen the difference.”

Baraza who won the FKF-PL title with Sony Sugar in 2006 has exuded confidence that Police Fc is a great club that has the potential of winning the title.
