Harambee Stars is set to play in a four-team Bonanza in the upcoming International break (June 12-20) as a way of complimenting their absence in the ongoing AFCON 2023 qualifiers, according to credible sources.
Mauritius will play host to the mini-tournament while Pakistan and Djibouti will also complete the four-team roster.
This is an effort for Engin Firat to fine-tune his squad ahead of the 2026 African World Cup qualifiers that are slated to kick off in November 2023.
Back in March this year, Harambee Stars played only their first match in 16 months since their suspension was imposed and lifted by FIFA when they traveled to Tehran where they lost 2-1 against Iran in the international friendly.
