Harambee Stars Head Coach Engin Firat has revealed that Kenya has the chance of participating in the 2030 World Cup if the right fundamentals toward achieving the goal are adhered to.

So far in the history books Kenya has never qualified for the coveted tournament- additionally no East African country has achieved the feet either.

“There is nothing that can really stop us from qualifying in 2030 as long as we are doing the right steps,” the tactician stated.

Kenya will rely on the World Cup’s expansion beginning in 2026. The league will be expanded from 80 to 104 matches, including a new round-of-32 round.

The number of competing teams has been expanded from 32 to 48, while the number of African continent places has been increased from five to nine.
