Chelsea players react after loosing to spurs

Chelsea were beaten 2-0 by Spurs in the Premier League after a fantastic Oliver Skipper goal.

Chelsea have not been in great form recently after failing to win in their last 4 games and having just one win since the January window was shut down. Chelsea lost Thiago Silva to injury after colliding with Spurs striker Harry Kane. Minutes before the halftime break, Hakim Ziyech was given a red card for violent conduct toward Emerson Royal, but after VAR review, the red card was changed to a yellow.

In the second half, Spurs took the lead in the 46th minute when Oliver Skipp scored a thunderous goal from outside the box to beat Kepa and give Spurs the lead. Chelsea looked completely lost and could not score the goal. Harry Kane scored the second after Eric Dier flicked a header in his path from a corner kick, and Chelsea could not recover from that.

After the game, Graham Potter said it was his responsibility. “I know the responsibility. It’s not good enough for this club, and so I take full responsibility for those results. “It isn’t good enough for Chelsea.” The players gave it everything; they are hurting. “It’s my responsibility.” he said.
