Manchester United are meeting their neighbor rivals; Manchester City, for the FA Cup final which will take place on Saturday 25 May at Wembley, with the start time yet to be confirmed.

The FA cup competition has been an enticing domestic competition for the England native teams, being a knock-out game, it has seen both Manchester teams heading to the finals after a tough struggle to reach the finishing spot.

Manchester United qualified for the Finals after a narrow victory from a penalty shoot-out over the Championship team Coventry,during the semifinals on Sunday. Manchester united trashed Coventry with a three-goal lead up to the seventies minutes when Coventry pushed a tough come-back which led to a 3-3 draw result. Manchester united later won with a 4-2 penalty results,hence qualifying for the finals.

Manchester city on the other hand qualified after beating Chelsea at the semis on Saturday with a 1-0 late victory secured from Bernardo Silva’s 84th minute goal stunner.

Manchester City and United will duke out their all time rivalry on the FA cup final again, and for the first time since 1884/1885 the same teams have made the FA Cup finals in consecutive seasons.

Manchester united have now reached the FA Cup finals more times (22) than any other side in the competition’s history overtaking Arsenal’s 21 times. They have won the FA trophy 12 times, therefore being second in all-time FA Cup trophy holders after Arsenal who has 14 FA Cup trophies.

Manchester city are now heading to the FA Cup Finals the 8th time, with 7 trophies won from last finals. The Manchester fans are eagerly waiting for the FA Cup final with both sides waiting to make history again from this ever charming football derby.
