ja Morant

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant spoke on Tuesday evening for the first time since his gun incident.

Ja Morant was suspended for eight games after flashing a gun in one of his live streams on Instagram. The eight-game suspension has concluded, and thus he is eligible to return to the lineup.

Speaking for the first time since the incident, Ja Morant said “I’m completely sorry for that,” Morant said after practice. “So, you know, my job now is, like I said, to be more responsible and smarter, and don’t cause any of that any more.” “Once I feel like I’m back in rhythm and in good condition to go back out there, I’ll be back out there,” Morant said.

The Memphis Grizzlies went on a record of 6-3 with Morant absent, and he was courtside in their win over the Dallas Mavericks. His return could be against the Houston Rockets on Thursday, but it is still not confirmed.
