Kakamega Homeboyz’s number one goal-keeper Farouk Shikhalo has confidently admitted that they will clinch and toast high the Mozzart Bet Cup trophy after advancing to the semi-finals.
Kakamega Homeboyz has been a force to reckon with in the knockout tournament knocking out cup holders Gor Mahia and the deadly Kariobangi Sharks.
The Former Yanga and Bandari shot stopper believes they are head and shoulders above the rest.
“We definitely want to win it. The mentality in the team has changed as we are aiming to win the Cup and proceed to the next level. We are ready for CAF matches; the team is gelling up well. The players who came in the mid-season transfer window have blended in well,’ he stated.
Shikalo will be hoping to add another FKF Cup title after clinching it with Bandari in 2019.
The winner will represent Kenya in the Confederations Cup next season.
Ulinzi Stars, AFC Leopards, and Tusker FC will also grace the semi-finals.
