KCB have recorded their second win of the season after defeating Kakamega homeboyz 2-0 in Football Kenya Federation midweek match that was played at Bukhungu stadium on Wednesday.

KCB got off to a flying start by scoring the first goal of the match in the opening minutes of the game through Haniff Wesonga who was assisted by Hillary.

Homeboyz seemed to control the game after KCB openned the scoring but they fail to score as they went into halftime break while still one goal down.

Homeboyz were seeking to get three points after drawing against Gor Mahia over the weekend but their hopes were over after KCB second half substitute Francis Kahiro doubled KCB lead in 79th to secure the win for KCB.

KCB win over Homeboyz means that they have moved to 4th position with 7points, Poster Rangers continue to lead the league with 10points while Homeboyz remain in 12th position with 4 points.
