KCB RFC playmaker Oscar Sorani has admitted that qualifying for the Kenya Cup finals was attributed to their excellent pre-season preparations.
The bankers made it to the finals after thumping Menengai Oilers 38-20 at Ruaraka Grounds. They will now be on the road to lock horns with Kabras RFC for the fourteenth time since 2014 when they first met.
βWe had very good preparations ahead of the season. We had good and bad days and we learnt from that and this time we want to go all out,β Sorani said
KCB finished second in their regular season one point behind Kabras. They also were undefeated bar one which they got at the hands of the sugarmen.
Sorani acknowledges that the clash will be tough but believes they shall give a good account of themselves.
βIt will definitely be a tough clash. We are going to give our all. We will look at the game we just had in the semis and the mistakes that we made. And again, it is a final, now we have to go all guns out,β he added.
The Curtis Olago will be wary of the sugar men who will have a home advantage boost.
