Kenya under-18 national team, Junior Stars have intensified their training ahead of the Cecafa U-18 Boys Championship that kicks off this weekend.
The two-week competition will take place between November 25 to December 9, 2023. The matches will be played in Kisumu and Kakamega.Kenya has been placed in Group ‘A’ alongside Somalia, Rwanda, Sudan and Djibouti.
Group ‘B’ consists of Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Sudan, and Uganda.All Group ‘A’ matches will be played in Kisumu while Kakamega will host Group ‘B’ teams.
The winners of each group will face off against the runners-up in the next round which will be the semi-finals that will take place on December 5 in Kisumu.
Kenya will kick off their campaign against Sudan on opening day at 12pm in Kisumu. In other matches,Somali will face Rwanda in Kisumu at3:00pm.
In Group B, Tanzania will face Uganda in Kakamega, Zanzibar will face S. Sudan also in Kakamega county.
