Manchester City completed a comeback as they defeated injury-hit Newcastle 3-2 in the Premier League at St James Park.

Pep Guardiola was hit with a blow when Ederson was replaced early with an injury. City got the lead through Bernado Silva after a lovely team play. Newcastle managed to improve the game and score two quick goals through Alexander Isak and Antony Gordon. The home side went into halftime leading 2-1.

In the second half, Kevin De Bruyne made his long-awaited return from injury after being sidelined since early August. De Bruyne then scored the equalising goal to give the Guardiola side the advantage. The game seemed to be headed for a draw, but De Bruyne was once again involved as he set up Oscar Bob, who scored the winner in the added time.
