Manchester City defender Kylie Walker has signed a new contract with the club until 2026.
After entering the final year of his Manchester City contract, Kyle Walker was rumoured to be moving to Bayern Munich; however, Walker will now remain at City till 2026. Walker, 33, has won 15 trophies from the city in six years.
Walker was left frustrated after being left out of the Champions League final squad against Inter Milan last season. He reportedly agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich, but Manchester City refused to let him leave.
Speakimg, after extending the contract, said his future lies with the club. “I’m thrilled to sign a new deal. My future is with Manchester City, and that is the best thing for me,” said Walker. “I’ve enjoyed every single moment of the past six years at this fantastic club.” He said.
