After leaving French champions Paris St-Germain, Argentina legend Lionel Messi will sign with Inter Miami in the United States.

The former Barcelona and PSG forward is expected to turn down a more lucrative offer from Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia.
Brands like Apple and Adidas are collaborating on the Miami deal. Messi, 35, has won the Ballon d’Or seven times, and after the World Cup, he is predicted to win it again this year. Messi, a legendary player for Barcelona, is playing his first game outside of Europe.

He was widely believed to favor moving to Saudi Arabia, where he would have joined Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo in the league in a deal that was unaffordable.

But in the end, Messi was drawn to Major League Soccer (MLS).He was eager to return to Barcelona this summer, but any ambitious plan to do so was rendered impossible by the Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions that would be in place for the upcoming La Liga season.
