Bryan Mbeumo had the first chance with a low driven effort, which was easily saved. Matheus Cunha opened the scoring in the 27th minute after Patrick Dorgu’s cross found him in a dangerous position. Bruno Fernandes doubled United’s advantage in the 42nd minute before Benjamin Sesko added the third goal just before the halftime break.

Sabah had a golden opportunity to get back into the match when Joy-Lance Mickels found himself unmarked near the far post, but his header went wide. Sabah also struggled to create clear chances, while United’s attacking players repeatedly threatened the visitors’ defense.

After the break, Lisandro Martinez added United’s fourth following a defensive mistake from Sabah. United controlled the remainder of the match comfortably, while Sabah goalkeeper Stas Pokatilov made several saves to keep the score a float.

Speaking after scoring at Old Trafford, Lisandro Martinez expressed his happiness: “It’s an amazing feeling, scoring in this amazing and beautiful stadium with those people. “Tonight, honestly, I’m one of the happiest people in the world,” he said.
