Manchester United eased past Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup as they defeated them 3-0.
Alejandro Garnacho gave United the lead in the first half after a lovely cutback by Diego Dalot. Casemiro then added the second after a fantastic delivery by Mason Mount.
Antony Martial added the third goal in the second half to finish off a lovely evening for Ten Hag side.Amrabat made his first start for the much-rotated United side, with Mason Mount also returning to the starting lineup following his injury last month.
Speaking after the game, Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag said it was a lovely win. “It was a good night; we played quite well and dominated the game. If you don’t win, of course there is frustration and disappointment, and the mood drops. But the spirit was always good; the togetherness was there and is there—you could see that today.” He said.
