Thursday’s Premier League match between Manchester United and struggling Tottenham ended in a 2-2 draw despite Manchester United having a 2-0 halftime lead.

Spurs had the opportunity to atone for their embarrassing 6-1 loss at Newcastle over the weekend when they played Manchester United. However, they got off to a bad start as Manchester United took the lead after just 7 minutes of play thanks to Jadon Sancho. Just before the halftime break, Marcus Rashford scored United’s second goal to give Ten Hag a comfortable 2-0 lead.

However, 10 minutes into the second half, Spurs did manage to score a goal back through Pedro Porro. Through Son, who scored after being set up by Harry Kane, Spurs would tie the score and complete the comeback at 2-2. There were opportunities for both teams to score the winning goal, but neither of them converted.

Manchester United are in fourth place with 60 points from 31 games played, while Tottenham Hotspur are in fifth place with 54 points from 33 games played.
