United players celebrates after scoring against Real Betis

Manchester United bounced back to winning ways with a comfortable 4-1 win over Real Betis on Thursday evening in the Europa League.

After disappointing 7-0 loss to Liverpool, United had to bounce back.Erik ten Hag named an unchanged side at the defeat by Liverpool.Marcus Rashford opened the scoring just five minutes into the game with a wonderful finish into the roof of the net. Ayoze Perez levelled for Real Betis midway through the first half to draw things level at the break.

In the second half, United came off with improved performance, and Antony beautifully curled the second goal of the game. Bruno Fernandes then headed in the third after being left unmarked in the box, while Wout Weghorst scored his first goal at Old Trafford after Real Betis goalkeeper Claudio Bravo pushed Scott McTominay’s effort into his path, with United winning the game 4-1.

Manchester United will next face Southampton in the Premier League as their quest for a top-four finish continues.
