Liverpool winger Mohammed Salah has revealed the club wants to win the title.
The Anfield-based club has a commanding six-point lead at the top of the Premier League standings and has a game in hand against Everton. Arne Slot has helped the team to great performance in the league and also the Champions League, as they have won all their games in the league. They have commanding wins and have had fun scoring goals with Salah leading the standings with 17 goals and 13 assists to his name.
The Egyptian revealed it would mean more for the team to win the league: “I want to win the Premier League title MORE than the Champions League this year”. I really want it; as a team, we want it, he said. Salah also heaped praise on Slot as a tactical genius. “Before I worked with Arne Slot, I didn’t expect he was this good… then we started working, and I’m not surprised at all!” He’s great with details, great with small things, doesn’t have an ego when he makes a mistake… he’s great on tactics.” He said.
Liverpool next face Manchester United, who are on a poor run of form, having lost four games in a row.
