The Nairobi Basketball League Association (NBA) kick off has been postponed from 25th March to 15th April 2023 due to financial problems, confirms NBA Chairman Ronnie Owino.
Ronnie explained that the teams that are slated to participate in the league have not yet paid the league fees which will in turn pay for the two basketball courts at Strathmore University.
Before the Kick Off on 25th March, an Annual General Meeting is pitted to take place on 8th April where last year’s winners will be crowned trophies- Kariobangi-based Moischers and Stanbic Aces.
A free-to-all referees clinic will be held on 23rd and 24th March to equip the referees ahead of a busy league.
