The New York Knicks moved closer to the Eastern Conference finals after beating the Boston Celtics 121-113.

The Knicks defended the home court in a crucial game 4 where Jalen Brunson had a good shooting performance as he went 14-25 from the floor, which included 4 three-pointers. Mikail Bridges added 23 points on 11-21 from the floor. Karl Towns added 23 points also on 11 of 15 shooting in a dominant win over the defending champions.

For the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum had a good night as he scored 42 points on 16 of 28 shooting, which included 7 three-pointers. He, however, suffered a major blow as he was forced off injured in the final minutes, and his Game 5 status is unknown. Jaylen Brown added 20 points as he shot 7 of 16 from the floor.

Game 5 will be played on the Boston Celtics’ home court, the TD Gardens, with the Knicks having a chance to eliminate the defending champions.
