
The OKC Thunder took a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fresh from being announced as the KIA Most Valuable Player(MVP), Shai Alexander led the Thunder in scoring with 38 points on 12 of 21 shooting from the floor, which also included 13 free throws. Jayden Williams added 26 points on 12 of 20 shooting. Holmgren added 22 points, while the rest of the team had single digits in points.
The Timberwolves failed to win away and will now have to rely on the home court in Games 3 and 4. Antony Edwards had 32 points on 12 of 26 shooting, while Jayden McDaniels had 22 points on 8 of 15 shooting. Julius Randle had a poor shooting night with just 6 points.
Minnesota will look to bounce back from 2-0 down as they head to the home court in Games 3 and 4.
