Kevin Durant

The Phoenix Suns have suffered a major blow as their superstar Kevin Durant is set to be sidelined after an ankle injury he suffered on Wednesday morning.

Ahead of his anticipated home debut in Phoenix, NBA superstar Kevin Durant suffered an ankle injury in the warm-ups when he slipped when attempting to make a layup. He will now be reevaluated in about two weeks, as confirmed by Shams, who is an athletic reporter.

Kevin Durant was injured when he was traded from the Brooklyn Nets in January and made his Suns debut in their win against the Charlotte Hornets. In the three games Durant has played in Phoenix, he has been stellar. The Suns have not lost with Durant in the lineup, and he is averaging almost 27 points per game on 69 percent shooting.

The Phoenix Suns are currently in fourth place with a 37-29 record in the Western Conference.
