The Premier League title race is now a two horse race between the defending Champions Manchester City and North London Rivals Arsenal who seek to bring back the trophy to Emirates after 19 years wait.

The race took a different turn after the Cityzens closed the gap when they thrashed Leicester City 3 goals to one.

Two goals by Erling Haaland, and one by John Stones secured a smooth win to revive the title hopes for Guardiola -led squad. Kelechi Iheancho pulled one back after James Maddison’s corner but it was not enough to salvage the situation at Etihad stadium.

City are now 3 points behind league leaders Arsenal who will square with West Ham United on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola praised his team on the performance against a team that is under difficult time and termed the performance good after the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich last week.
