Nzoia Sugar FC head coach Salim Babu is set to join Kenya Police FC. Babu is joining Police FC as an assistant coach and is expected to leave the millers after reaching agreement with the millers management today.
He led the millers to fourth place in 2022/2023 FKF-PL season that concluded recently.
“We have agreed to part ways mutually. There are no hard feelings and I wish them the best.”He said.
Babu will now work with Francis Barasa again having worked together at Sony sugar FC in 2016.
On joining Police FC, he explained that it was necessary for him as he will be able to undertake CAF license ‘B’ course.
“Police FC understand my situation and we have discussed that the best way to navigate around it is as if am an assistant coach,” he added.
