Vihiga Queens
The 2022-23 FKF- Women Premier League season has been one of the most competitive seasons in recent times.
Two teams are above the rest having created a buffer of five points; Gaspo Women and Vihiga Queens. They both have 34 points.
Vihiga Queens have not been on their prolific form this season but are counting on their experience to pocket the silverware. Last season, they clinched their fourth FKF-WPL title without registering any loss.
They will face Bunyore Starlets on Sunday in the Western derby clash. Nyamunyamu side will be hoping to avoid complacency which might dent their title aspirations.
On the other hand, Gaspo Women will lock horns with Trans Nzoia Falcon at Kenyatta Stadium, Kitale. Jacob Mulee’s side knows too well that nothing short of a win is unwelcomed.
