The late Kenya Volleyball Federation president Waithaka Kioni will be laid to rest at his home in Kiamwangi Village, Gatundu South on Wednesday.
The late Kioni, the 2nd NOC-K vice president, Funeral’s program will kick off at 8:30 am.
Kioni passed away on April 9 in Nairobi after a short illness. He was the brains behind the Kenya Pipeline Volleyball Club formation almost four decades ago. The Volleyball team has since become a dominant force in the volleyball stratosphere.
