In conjunction with the annual Ballon d’Or presentation, the Yachine Trophy, which honours the best goalkeeper of the year, has announced its top 10 candidates for 2023.

Emiliano Martinez leads the nominations, especially after putting in a world-class performance in the World Cup final, including a last-minute save to Kolo Muani against France and also saving a penalty kick.

Ederson is also on the list, as he was part of the Manchester City side that won the treble last year, but he was barely involved in the World Cup.

Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, who has now moved to Al Hilal, is also nominated after leading Morocco to a famous quarterfinals world cup run.

Below is the full list of the nominees:

Yassine Bounou, Sevilla, and Al Hilal
Ederson, Manchester City
Mike Maignan, AC Milan
Andre Onana, Inter/Manchester United
Brice Samba, Lens
Thibaut Courtois, Real Madrid
Dominik Livakovic, Dinamo Zagreb/Fernbahce
Emiliano Martinez, Aston Villa
Aaron Ramsdale, Arsenal
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Barcelona

The winner of the Yachine Trophy will be revealed to the best goalkeeper on October 30 at an award ceremony at the ThBoundu Chatelet in Paris, France.
