According to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, Fernandez, who only joined Chelsea during the January transfer window, has already extended his contract with the club.
Enzo Fernandez is now under contract with the team till June 2032. The World Cup champion initially committed to Stamford Bridge for eight and a half years after moving there from Benfica in a deal worth £106.8 million.
Fernandez has already broken into the first team since joining the club, having started all the games Chelsea have played since his signing and already having two assists to his name.
Chelsea prepare to host Brighton during the weekend while they await their big game on Tuesday against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League.
