English premier league is back after two weeks of international break, and Chelsea will tonight host Arsenal at the Stamford Bridge. The match will start at 19:30 EAT.

The Blues are starting to show promising signs under Mauricio Pochettino after recording two consecutive wins before the international break.

The Blues have lost five of their last six Premier League meetings with Arsenal, including both in 2022/23, and have not beaten them at Stamford Bridge since August 2018.

Arsenal will make the short trip to Chelsea full of confidence, as they are one of two sides, along with Tottenham Hotspur, yet to be beaten in the Premier League so far this campaign and are second in the table.

Chelsea will be without striker Armando Broja, but Benoit Badiashile could be involved. Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are available following international duty in South America.

Arsenal will make late assessments of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Leandro Trossard.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has never lost a home match against Arsenal; he has won three and drawn the other three.

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 15 league London derbies (W11 D4), the third-longest such run in Premier League history after Chelsea (20 between 2004 and 2006) and the Gunners themselves (35 between 2001 and 2005).

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino said that, “prefer the tough fixtures. We are thinking to win tomorrow. We respect Arsenal, it’s a great team.

It’s going to be tough because they are doing a great job.We are confident we can give our best and play a very good game.”

Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta on his side said that,”It’s a big game and we know that there is a big history between the two clubs and the type of games we have played against them.

It’s a very different one, I think. This season, I’ve been really impressed by Chelsea, they deserve much more than what they’ve got on the table.

I think what Mauricio has done in such a short time is phenomenal and we’re going to have to be at our best tomorrow.”
