Chelsea interim coach Frank Lampard has finally broken silence on the comments made by his former teammate Didier Drogba concerning the current status of the club.

In his remarks, the former Chelsea legend said that team should go back the principles they had and that he does not recognize his former club because of poor form in the current season and being a tight corner to move to the next level in the Champions League football.

However, Lampard distanced himself from the remarks saying that the comments are Drogba’s and not anyone else’s.

“They’re Didier’s comments, sorry.” said Lampard.

The Stamford Bridge based club was eliminated form the Champions league on Tuesday after 2 goals from Rodrydo Goes extending the aggregate points to 4-0 and will not qualify for the competitions next season because the now sit in 11th position in the Premier League table.
