Chelsea have been far from their best this season, and after being knocked out by Real Madrid in the Champions League, they will now finish the season trophyless.

Who is to blame for Chelsea’s problems this season?

1.Chelsea owners

According to Tuchel, Chelsea traveled a lot during the preseason instead of training, which led to a poor start to the season. The owners, led by Todd Bohely, are also at fault for firing Tuchel and then hiring Graham Potter, who was later fired after making little impact. They then brought in Frank Lampard on an interim basis, who has now lost four games in a row.

2.Graham Potter

Chelsea’s worst period this season has come under him. He was criticized for bad substitutions and poor tactics until he was sacked by Chelsea.

3.Poor finishing

Chelsea have lacked a prolific goalscorer to finish the chances they always create. Joao Felix, who was brought on loan from Atletico Madrid, has just two goals since January, while Mudyrk is yet to score.

4.Frank Lampard

After he was given a second chance to lead Chelsea,he is yet to win a game, and Chelsea are in the bottom half of the table and are likely to miss European football next season.

Chelsea continue to search for a new manager for next season, with both Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann being tipped as the two leading candidates.
