Harambee Stars’ head coach Engin Firat has unveiled Harambee Stars Squad that consists of 23 players , Harambee Stars will play against 2018 World Cup hosts Russia in an international friendly match on Monday 16 October 2023 in Antalya, Turkey.

The squad consist of local and international-based players, with Vincent Harper, who plies his trade in the English Football League (EFL) League One, handed his debut to the national team alongside Gor Mahia right back Rooney Onyango.

Tusker’s Brian Bwire, South Africa-based Ovella Ochieng, and AFC Leopards’ Cliffton Miheso are returning to the squad after missing the last round of selection.

The players who plies their trades in foreign leagues include,Captain Michael Olunga, Masud Juma, Joseph Okumu, Brian Mandela, Johnstone Omurwa, Eric Ouma, Amos Nondi, Richard Odada, and Teddy Akumu.

Gor Mahia forward Benson Omala again has been left out of the squad despite being in good form.The team will travel on Monday 9 October 2023, before they camp in Turkey.
