Memphis star Ja Morant has taken full accountability after showing a gun in his video during the weekend.
Ja Morant may be facing a lengthy suspension after the NBA concludes the ongoing investigation regarding his incident of flashing a gun while in a car. It is the second time this year he has done the same. He is currently suspended from any basketball-related activities, awaiting further punishment from the NBA.
He released a statement yesterday after the incident. “I know I’ve disappointed a lot of people who have supported me,” he said. “This is a journey, and I recognize there is more work to do. My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my actions. I’m committed to continuing to work on myself.” He said.
Rumors suggest he may miss the start of next season or even the first half of the season.
