The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 112-88 to move to the Eastern Conference finals for the second consecutive season.

Jayson Tatum broke the record for most points scored in Game 7 with 51 points on 17-28 shooting while knocking down six three-pointers. Jaylen Brown added 25 points in the blowout win.

For the Sixers, reigning MVP Joel Embiid had a bad night where he scored just 15 points on 5-18 shooting, while James Harden scored 9 points and Maxey scored 17 points.

Speaking after the win, Jayson Tatum was delighted with his performance. “I was relieved just to get another chance. Our season could have been over after Game 6.” “It definitely was on my mind that I had played as bad as it could get for 43 minutes.” But we had a saying: ‘It’s only up from here’.” He said.

The Celtics will now meet the Miami Heat once more, with Game 1 taking place on Wednesday in Boston.
