Chelsea forward Kai Havertz scored off the bench as Germany drew 3-3 with Ukraine.

With Germany losing 2-1 at the break, Havertz replaced Niclas Füllkrug as the striker. Ukraine had already taken a two-goal lead. Before Havertz scored in the 83rd minute, he controlled a long ball over the top from Antonio Rüdiger, ducked under a defender, and finished with a touch that was too cool for the defender.

Joshua Kimmich then got a penalty in stoppage time, which he converted to tie the game at 3-3 and conclude the friendly after Havertz won the penalty.

Mykhailo Mudryk made a start for the blue and yellow while displaying his customary signs of promise when his off-target attempt from a cutback went off Rüdiger for an own goal to give Ukraine a 2-1 lead midway through, he did directly contribute to one of their goals.
