Kariobangi Sharks will look to get back to winning ways when they host Mathare United at Kasarani this evening.
Kariobangi has dropped points in their last two games after falling to Ulinzi 1-0 and Nairobi City Stars 2-1 over the weekend. A week ago, Nzoia Sugar destroyed Mathare United 3-0 at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma before the slum boys went on to lose 2-0 to Posta Rangers on Saturday at Ruaraka grounds.
Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Mluhya has told his side to fight with spirit against Mathare United. “Everybody in the team is aware of the need to register a win after losing twice in a row. A win over Mathare will restore the confidence that we desperately need to bounce back into contention and I believe we can beat them.” He said.
With 22 points, Mathare is one spot off the bottom of the standings and in 16th place. With 33 points, the Kariobangi Sharks are eleventh in the standings.
