Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has insisted Cole Palmer is untouchable.
The England superstar Cole Palmer has had an up-and-down season, as he suffered a groin injury early into the season. He went on to miss more than 2 months due to the same before he came back. Reports suggested he is unhappy with the movements around Chelsea and would be looking elsewhere.
Speaking ahead of their Champions League clash against Napoli, head coach Rosenior insisted Palmer is untouchable. “Is Cole Palmer happy? YES. Untouchable? YES. Cole is an incredible player. The stories about him being unsettled are NOT true. There’s no reason for an assurance from the club. It’s so unrealistic. It’s come from nowhere. No need to talk.” It’s completely unrealistic. It’s come from nowhere. There’s nothing to discuss.” He said.
Palmer travelled with the squad and is set to feature against the Italian giants after missing the Crystal Palace win.
