Lakers star Luka Doncic guided the team to a win, 120-108, over the Denver Nuggets.

Doncic led the team in scoring, as he had a game-high 31 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. He scored 21 points in the first quarter alone as the Lakers dominated the Nuggets team, who were without Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. The Lakers have now won three straight after losing four games as the season draws closer to the playoffs. Austin Reaves added 22 points as they leapfrogged the Nuggets on a record of 43-25.

Luka spoke to ESPN on the win and said they need to get better each day: “Like I always say, every day gets better. That’s three wins in a row now, so we’ve got to just keep it going. We go game by game because if you think too far in the future, maybe you forget about the next game. We know the standings are tight, but we’ve just got to try and win every game.” He said.

LeBron James is still sidelined with a groin injury and is in the process of recovery and is expected to return before the playoffs.
