Manchester United returned to the quarter finals of the UEFA Europa cup tie with yet a disappointing results after conceding to goal lead to Sevilla in the second half.

Despite Marcus Sabitzer’s first half brace, the game witnessed defensive cracks as Ten Hag’s men conceded two goals thanks to own goal by Harry Maguire and Tyrell Malacia.

According to United legend Paul Scholes, the result is disappointing and Manchester United showed complacency in the second half to throw away the lead, something that Alex Ferguson during his time as coach.

” Sir Alex Ferguson wouldn’t have allowed us to be complacent in the second half of the quarter final. This is the time to win this game.” said Scholes.

United will visit Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on 20th April for the second leg to determine who will proceed to the semi finals.
