The Miami Heat defeated the Denver Nuggets 111-108 in game 2 of the NBA finals.

As the Heat were able to tie the game going into their home court, Gabe Vincent scored 23 points, Jimmy Butler scored 21, and Bam Adebayo scored 21 points. Duncan Robinson scored 10 points for the Heat in the fourth quarter to help the Heat win.

Nikola Jokic led the Denver Nuggets with a game-high 41 points, including 11 rebounds. Jamal Murray contributed 18 points, and Aaron Gordon added 12 points.

Denver Nuggets head coach Mark Malone said his team did not play well. “Let’s talk about effort,” Malone said. “I mean, this is the NBA Finals, and we’re talking about effort. That’s a huge concern of mine. “You guys probably thought I was just making up some storyline after Game One when I said we didn’t play well. We didn’t play well. This is not the preseason. This is not the regular season. This is the NBA Finals.” He said.
