Miles Bridges has been suspended by the NBA for 30 games without pay following a domestic violence incident involving the mother of his children, the NBA said today.

On June 27, 2022, the event took place in Los Angeles, and Mr. Bridges was afterwards detained and accused of numerous charges. The remaining charges against Mr. Bridges were dropped after he entered a plea of not guilty to a felony domestic violence charge on November 3, 2022. Mr. Bridges did not sign an NBA contract for the 2022–23 season after his arrest and plea, so he missed all 82 games.

The NBA has determined that 20 games of the ban have already been completed in acknowledgement of that conclusion. Mr. Bridges must skip the first 10 games for which he is otherwise qualified and able to play if he signs an NBA deal.
