The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Chicago Bulls 105-92 on Wednesday night to clinch the NBA’s top spot.

Despite playing without an injured Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks managed to prevail. Khris Middleton was also injured in the opening frame.

The final tally for Jrue Holiday was 27 points and 13 rebounds. In addition, Brook Lopez and Jevon Carter scored 26 and 16 points, respectively. Wesley Matthews demonstrated his value in the victory over the Bulls by playing outstanding defense against DeMar DeRozan. Only eight points were scored by the Bulls forward Derozan on three of twelve field goal attempts.

With the win, the Milwaukee Bucks clinched top spot in the Eastern Conference, with the Boston Celtics expected to finish second in the standings.
