Tusker FC’s head coach Robert Matano has expressed his disappointment with some of the squad players that were given a go at the Mozzart Bet Cup round-of-16.
The Brewers had to work their socks off to mount a spirited 3-2 comeback against Rainbow FC.
“Most of the players have not been playing and we were giving them a chance to play because the league is so competitive so everybody must get his chance. Some played well, but some did not. I am happy for everybody but some are still very slow. We will continue giving them more chances and with time they will catch up,” Matano said.
Tusker FC will face KCB in the tournament’s quarter-finals and Matano believes the players understand the task very well.
The players know that they are playing for Tusker, and Tusker is a champions club and they know what it means playing for that badge,” he added
