The 23-year-old Kelvin Kiptum has clinched the 2023 TCS London Marathon in an emphatic fashion after running the second-ever fastest time in history and also breaking the course record after clocking (2:01:25).
The Kenyan was able to surmount Kipchoge’s course record set back in 2017(2:02:37) and nearly broke his world record (2:01:09) – he missed it by 18 seconds.
