Chelsea FC have officially announced the departure of head coach Liam Rosenior following a run of disappointing results.

The club confirmed that the decision was made after careful consideration, with performances in recent matches failing to meet the expected standards, despite the season still offering opportunities for success.

Rosenior, who took charge midway through the campaign, was praised for his professionalism and commitment during his tenure. Chelsea expressed their appreciation for his efforts and wished him well in his future career.

In the meantime, Calum McFarlane has been appointed as interim head coach until the end of the season. He will be supported by the club’s existing backroom staff as the team continues its push for European qualification and progress in the FA Cup.

Chelsea also confirmed that they will begin a thorough process to identify a long-term managerial solution, aiming to bring stability back to the club’s leadership.
