The Phoenix Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets, the number one seed in the Western Conference, 119-115 on Friday morning.

Chris Paul scored 25 points, while Kevin Durant added six 3-pointers and led the Suns with 29 points and seven rebounds. Devin Booker only made three of his 12 shots, but he still managed to score 15 points by going 8 for 8 from the free throw line and also having eight assists. Deandre Ayton scored 16 points, and reserve Torrey Craig added 11 points.

Without any of the five starters, Bruce Brown led Denver with 31 points on 11 of 18 shooting. DeAndre Jordan scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Reggie Jackson had 20 points and six assists. Nikola Jokic played 25 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to Houston after missing the previous three games due to a calf ailment.

The Suns improved to a 45-35 record, while the Nuggets still have the best record in the Western Conference with a 52-28 record.
